Earlier today I wrote to you how I’ve been looking for a job and all, after I posted the last entry, I went out and did a bit more searching, with no real luck. I stoped at a dealership, and I felt good about the intereview. Anyway, I came home and worked a bit in the shop and fiddled with the shit bucket (You will hear about her later, she deserves a full entry) a bit then came in and helped my mom with the groceries. I came back and worked on this site for a little while, the flash intro if you really want to know, and then it happend. The door bell rang, (that never happens), I went to investigate. It was my neighbor, and little did I know at the time, soon to be boss. She is the VP for the Visualization department of HKS, one of the biggest Architechture firms in the area. Anywho, dont know why I included that, but we ended up talking a little and she said that she had actually came over to see if I was intrested in filling an internship at her office. I was shocked, all that work getting my resume out, and job hunting, and everything…It turns out my neighbor hires me. I was speechless, ofcourse I would love to come and work for you! Anyway, I start next monday, it pays well, and I think it will be AWESOME, and its actually a field I enjoy working in! I can’t wait! I am pretty excited about it, maby I can get a new bike now…I will tell you that drama later…Anyway, yea, I got a job and I am real happy. Off to bed I go…

So, I have been looking for a job for a few weeks now, and I have to say this whole deal really sucks. I don’t think that anything else could be as moral beating. I never imagined it would be so hard to find a good job out in the real world. I’ve put a few hundred miles on my truck, spent a nice pretty penny on gas, and passed out numerous resumes…there are litteraly are a few hundred pages of resume’s floating around out there. I mean, after the first few “no’s” I got, I asked myself why I was not being hired…I am a hard worker, I want to work to better your business, I will work for just about anything, I am very talented and motivated….I want to work for you! What more is there to offer? I can’t even count how many times I have heard “We’re not hiring” or “Sorry, its not going to happen.” Its just very dissapointing….I am going out hunting again, maby I will find a job…Next entry I will probobly tell you my life story and all…
